It is important for BioAscent, that we understand your requirements, and for us to help you utilise our facilities and capabilities to the maximum effect to help you plan for your success.

Your storage needs

Our systems are well-configured to store in the following common conditions:

• DMSO solutions: -20°C
• Solid: RT°C

However we are flexible to your needs and also offer other storage conditions (e.g. 4°C).

We are here to help you devise the best strategies to meet your screening paradigms.

Plating (for Primary Screening)

Delivery Plating

We will determine the best processes to achieve your specific delivery plates.

• Do you need plate copies? By producing plate copies ahead of time, we can achieve faster turnaround time and economy, depending on your requirements.

Master Plating

• We often produce “master plates” from DMSO stock solutions, as a more appropriate (or required) vehicle for producing your delivery plates. These plates would be stored with us, for repeated further use. We may consider factors such as:
  • Freeze/thaw reduction:
    • many copies of small volume vs single copy of high volume
    • room temperature storage
  • Avoiding “broken” sets:
    • Option: produce separate master sets for primary screen dispensing and hit confirmation.

Pooling / Multiplexing

• We have a range of strategies available to enable you to pool compounds in wells, depending on your delivery plate volume and multiplexing needs. You can discuss this further with our technical team. </aside>

Cherry-Picking (for Hit Confirmation)

• How do you plan to cherry-pick compounds from us (e.g. as part of your hit confirmation)
